One side of the room that many people forget to clean your home or office computer keyboard. Many might not be aware of how dirty the keyboard is actually common. In fact, it’s one of the dirtiest surfaces in your home or office as it is touched with the hands.

These keyboards should be cleaned and disinfected, they are really dirty. Many diseases can be spread through the office computer keyboards and other common things. People eat near them, sneezing, and other things making the surfaces of the keyboard something that needs to be cleaned. Even the dust and dirt with a keyboard can cause keys to stick and not work as they should.

If you want to clean the keyboard, you must unplug it. If you have a laptop, unplug it and remove the battery. Turn the keyboard upside down and shake it gently so that all the particles out. Then get yourself a can of compressed air. Use this around the grooves in the keys to put out all that is in there.

A solution of cleaning the keyboard. This is normally a mild alcohol-based keyboard that will not be difficult. Use cotton swabs to apply the cleaner on the keys and each other as best as possible. You do not want the keyboard to get too wet so as not to put too much detergent solution on cotton swab.

In the case of disease germs and be sure to use some hand sanitizer before and after using the keyboard. This should reduce the germs that are left on the keyboard.

Keep a can of compressed air next to the keyboard. At least once a week trying to get the dust and dirt from the keyboard with this spray. This should help keep the keyboard in much better shape in the long run.
