Number 5: battery life shorter than for 3G. Using the 3G network chew up more battery. From what I’ve read that cuts the battery life of up to 10 hours between 7 and 8 hours. Not bad, but does not count at the end of a long day.

So, to summarize, if you’re just using the iPad around the house, get the version of Wi-Fi and if you need to use it in the field you are probably better off getting a 3G version of the iPad.

You probably do not want to take an engineering degree to use the phone. While Android is relatively easy to use, it is still not as intuitive as the iPhone. The iPhone has a simple elegance to it. Android powered smartphone tend to appeal more to the tech savvy crowd. Again, this is a matter of preference. Just as with computers, some people like some people like Windows and Mac OS. Go to the store and play with both for a while ‘and see which you like more, but if you hate computers and I barely know how to turn one, stick with the iPhone as it is easier.
